Ekya Nava Inaugurates New Chapter In K-12 Education

Ekya Schools marked a groundbreaking moment in K-12 education with the introduction of Ekya Nava, Asia-EMEA's pioneer K-12 Maker School of Innovation, Creativity and Design. This innovative initiative aims to revolutionise India's educational landscape by shifting from traditional rote learning to a purpose-driven academic approach, symbolising a beacon for the 'Maker Movement' in India.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, commended Ekya Schools' mission to transcend conventional education with the launch of Ekya Nava. Dr Tristha, Founder, Ekya Schools, emphasised the importance of an education instilling flexible skills in students for success in an ever-changing world.

Ekya NAVA was unveiled during the Ekya FIND Festival 2023, accompanied by the launch of a groundbreaking book, "Creating Extraordinary Educators: A Teacher’s Roadmap to Becoming Extraordinary," designed for educators and authored by Ekya educators. The event saw the presence of esteemed guests, including Dr K. P. Gopalkrishna, Dr A. S. Kiran Kumar, Dr K. C. Ramamurthy, Dr Sabitha Ramamurthy, K. R. Jayadeep and Dr Tristha Ramamurthy.
