MDI Mourns Passing Of Prof. Kanwal Kapil, Respected Marketing Professor & Alumni Chair

Prof. Kapil was a dedicated teacher and mentor, shaping the minds of many students over the years. As Chairperson of Alumni, he brought people together and fostered a strong sense of community among former students.

Kapi held a PhD and MBA in marketing, boasting a rich experience in both industry and academia. Prior to his tenure in academia, he contributed his expertise to esteemed companies such as Chemtrol Technologies, L&T, and Cipla, where he excelled in product and brand management, successfully launching several brands. Joining MDI in 2007 as an Associate Professor, Dr. Kapil was later promoted to Professor in 2017. His professional journey also included roles as Deputy Director at IPM and as an Assistant Professor at IMT Ghaziabad.
