EDII Ahmedabad Launches Free Online Entrepreneurship Training For Graduates Starting June 2024

Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), an autonomous and not-for-profit institute in Ahmedabad, is launching a free online Training Workshop for students, graduates and working professionals on ‘Exploring Entrepreneurship as a Career’. This workshop is scheduled for June 22, 2024 and July 18, 2024.

Interested candidates can register for this programme by visiting the official website, a platform run by BodhBridge Education. EDII has partnered with BodhBridge for this initiative. Graduates and working professionals who complete this free workshop will receive a certificate. 

This workshop will cover the following topics for aspiring entrepreneurs:

How to understand market dynamics, customer needs and competition to create viable business models.
How to think outside the box, leading to innovative products and services to solve real-world problems.
Entrepreneurs generate employment opportunities, reducing unemployment rates and contributing to economic stability. Successful businesses also contribute to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), driving economic growth and increasing national income. The rise of the gig economy has shown that traditional ‘9-to-5 jobs’ are not the only path to financial stability. Technological advancements have lowered the barriers to entry for starting a business, making entrepreneurship more accessible.  India needs more entrepreneurs to contribute to the country's development. It is crucial for a country like India, which has a large and growing workforce.

EDII plays a crucial role in nurturing and supporting entrepreneurs through education, training and incubation. The institute, set up in 1983, is an acknowledged National Resource Institute for Entrepreneurship Education, Research, Training and Institution Building. The Institute is positioned in the band of 11-50 in the India Rankings 2023 by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). EDII has a Technology Business Incubator 'Centre for Advancing & Launching Enterprises' (CrAdLE), supported by National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, DST, Government of India.
