The Government of Jharkhand has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The/Nudge Institute for launching the Indian Administrative Fellowship (IAF) in the state and is inviting applications. This is a pioneering 18-month programme that brings senior executives (CXOs/VPs/GMs) from the private sector together with civil servants in the Government of Jharkhand, to accelerate technology-based innovative solutions in livelihood programmes.
This will be the fifth cohort of IAF in India, with The/Nudge Institute having successfully driven the fellowship with the Governments of Karnataka, Punjab and the Central Ministry of Social Justice, impacting over 18 lakh citizens, mobilising over Rs 1000 crore of government funding to serve marginalised communities.
This programme is aimed at fostering a public-private collaboration that will drive large-scale impact and innovation. It involves bringing in senior corporate sector executives for a tenure of 18 months to work in close collaboration with the state’s top bureaucracy, assisting in the state’s development efforts. The selected fellows will work with 5 crucial government departments that aim to strengthen the livelihoods ecosystem – Chief Secretary (CS Office), Finance, Rural Development, Agriculture and ST, SC, Minorities & BC.
