The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the exam schedule for Class X and XII board exams by the end of November. Based on previous years, the 2025 board exams are likely to start on February 15, 2025 and run until April.
Since 2023, CBSE has held board exams from February 15 each year. In 2021, exams took place from May to June, and in 2022, from April to May. The date sheet will provide details on exam dates, timings and important instructions for students.
CBSE recently shared details for practical exams, which will start on January 1, 2025, for Class X and February 15, 2025, for Class XII. Class 12 practical exams will have external examiners, while Class 10 practicals will be conducted by school teachers.
