Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, concluded the AICTE-sponsored ATAL Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Transformative Technologies for Sustainable and Circular Production and Consumption for Viksit Bharat 2047 from September 16-21, 2024.
Coordinated by Surya Prakash of Great Lakes, Gurgaon and co-coordinated by Sachin Kumar Mangla from Jindal Global Business School, the six-day programme hosted over 46 participants from institutions such as IIT Delhi, MDI Gurgaon and NIT Patna.
The FDP covered sustainability, technology and pedagogy through 10 expert sessions and five workshops, focusing on circular economies, sustainable production and transformative technologies.

Hands-on workshops led by Great Lakes, Gurgaon faculty provided participants with practical skills to integrate sustainability into their teaching and research. The programme empowered participants to implement these concepts at their institutions, shaping future scholars and professionals. This initiative reflects Great Lakes Gurgaon’s commitment to innovation and sustainable development through education and research. The event concluded with a ceremony and a vote of thanks from Surya Prakash.
