Dr. Atish Chattopadhyay To Rejoin IMT Ghaziabad As Director

Atish Chattopadhyay, a renowned academic leader and former Deputy Director of SPJIMR Mumbai and Dean of MICA, is set to rejoin IMT Ghaziabad as Director. Alongside this role, he will oversee the integration of IMT’s Dubai campus with IMT Ghaziabad. Chattopadhyay previously served as Director of IMT Ghaziabad from April 2016 to May 2018 and will return to the institution in February 2025.

With a distinguished career spanning leadership roles across premier institutions, Chattopadhyay brings a wealth of experience in transforming academic programmes and driving institutional growth.

At SPJIMR (2007–2015), he served as professor of marketing and Deputy Director, successfully leading the flagship two-year PGDM programme for over five years, improving enrollments, placements, international partnerships and alumni engagement. During his tenure as Dean at MICA (2015–2016), he restructured the admissions process and implemented a student-driven placement model.

From 2018 to 2024, Chattopadhyay spearheaded the transformation and rebranding of JAGSoM Bengaluru and as the Founding Vice Chancellor of Vijay Bhoomi University, introduced a liberal-professional curriculum framework rooted in the multiple-intelligence model.
