RS Lugani: Former Headmaster Passes Away
Yesterday, 22 May 2021, Ram Sarup Lugani, the first headmaster and principal of Delhi Public School (DPS) R K Puram, passed away.
Following the footsteps of his father, who was a Sanskrit teacher, Lugani, too, pursued education. He had studied at Punjab and Agra University. Acquiring teaching and administration experience at Manchester Grammar School, UK.
Lugani was awarded the prestigious Padma Shri Award for Excellence in Literature & Education in 1992.
