IIMB To Participate In Global Climate Clock Assembly On Earth Day

This year, IIM Bangalore will take part in the Global Climate Clock Assembly and Display event on Earth Day – April 22, 2023. The IIMB community – students, faculty & staff and their families, will participate in this event, to be held on campus, outside Classroom N-001, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.

The Energy Swaraj Foundation, in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, Government of India and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), are organising the Global Climate Clock Assembly and Display event. All organisations, including academic institutions, corporate enterprises, start-ups, social organisations, firms as well as individuals across the globe, are invited to collaborate for the event. The Foundation has designed a very simple, easy to assemble Do It Yourself (DIY) Climate Clock kit.

As part of the event, IIMB will build two climate clocks on April 22 and display them in prominent spots on campus. One of them will be built by the student community of the two-year fulltime MBA – the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and the one-year fulltime MBA – the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), led by the ENS Club, and the other one by the IIMB faculty, staff and their children, led by IIMB’s Sustainability Taskforce.
