Amity Start-up Ingenious Research Wins 'Special Jury Award' From Defence Minister Rajnath Singh

Ingenious Research Solutions, a start-up incubated in Amity University, Noida, received a "Special Jury Award" for its path-breaking innovation, “Divya Drishti”, AI based Human Recognition System, under Category C1- (Technology/Product Innovation), to address Defence Capability Gaps, subcategory start- ups, at the seventh Annual Session 2024 of Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM), in New Delhi. The award was presented by Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh to W. Selvamurthy, President, Amity Science, Technology and Innovation Foundation and Shivani Verma and Director of Ingenious Research Solutions., Professor, Amity Institute of Space Science & Technology, in the presence of top leadership from the Ministry of Defence, Indian Armed Forces and the industry including Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, Secretary (Defence Production) Sanjeev Kumar, SIDM President Rajinder Singh Bhatia, captains of the industry and M. S. Prasad, Director Amity Institute of Space Science & Technology. 

As a developer of disruptive AI based technologies, Ingenious Research Solutions, has been working on technologies for the Indian Defence and has achieved special recognition from DRDO and Technology Development Fund. The jury selected Ingenious Research Solutions for the Divya Drishti Product (project awarded by Technology Development Fund), a unique and human recognition system capable of recognising, with good accuracy, an individual under all circumstances, be it hidden or occluded face, induced abnormalities in gait or movement or low-light conditions.

Built with a mission to create an indigenous, innovative, and technically advanced solutions, Ingenious Research Solutions always focuses on research development and innovation to provide value to Defence, Space and Societal applications. Ingenious research Solutions works on Intelligent Image Processing (SAR/ Optical/Hyperspectral/ LIDAR and fusion). It has designed its own Unmanned Ground Vehicle which is used with Ground Penetrating Radar for detection of underground buried tunnels and a LIDAR, for mapping an unknown territory. Apart from these, Ingenious Research Solutions is also developing a low-cost Drone Detection system, Cognitive Health Monitoring of Astronaut/ Aircraft/ Spacecraft, Design of Swarm of CubeSats for surveillance and Space Situational Awareness: Space Debris Conjunction Analysis.
