Faculty & Staff Development Program On 'Power Dressing'

IMS Ghaziabad organised a Faculty & Staff Development Program on 'Power Dressing' for the female faculty and staff members of the Institute on October 04, 2022. 

The Expert Resource Person for the session was Nidhi Saini, Author & Corporate Trainer, Communications & Soft Skills. Delivering the inaugural address, Dr Urvashi Makkar highlighted the crucial role of a faculty member in acting as a role model for the students, in addition to providing technical and domain specific knowledge. Emphasising on the role of Vicarious Learning, she opined that the faculty members must adhere by the protocol of the Institute while making their dressing preferences.  

The expert Nidhi Saini drew the attention of the delegates on the vital role of professional attire and personal grooming in strengthening our confidence, classroom delivery and student engagement. Through an interactive pedagogy, she guided the delegates on appropriate choice of apparels, accessories & footwear both in the context of Indian & western professional attire.
