Shiv Nadar School Students Showcase Groundbreaking Innovations At Colloquium 2024

Grade X students from Shiv Nadar School presented innovative solutions to real-world problems at Colloquium 2024, with standout projects like STEPWise and Helmair earning top accolades

In a display of creativity and problem-solving prowess, Grade X students at Shiv Nadar School Noida, Gurugram and Faridabad showcased some cutting-edge technical prototypes solving real-life concerns at Colloquium 2024. The coveted first prize went to team STEPWise from Shiv Nadar School, Noida, comprising Shivansh Sharda, Aadish Garg, Armaan Sadh and Omar Ahmad. Their groundbreaking invention, STEPWise, an innovative indoor navigation system that empowers blind individuals, enabling them to confidently and independently navigate unfamiliar spaces with safety and ease, won them an academic excursion to CERN. CERN is a European Organisation for Nuclear Research, one of the world's largest and most respected centres for scientific research. It is the site of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world's largest and highest-energy particle collider.

Team Helmair from Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, secured second place. Samar Sharma, Satt Gupta, Aadit Dua, Ananya Ahuja, and Rayhan Taneja developed an inflatable helmet that provides lightweight, affordable, and immediate head protection for two-wheeler riders, enhancing safety and comfort during daily use.  

Other innovations that received a special mention from the jury include AllergiFind, Eudaimonia, NetSense and Dysgraphicon.
