BW Education Leadership Awards’ Jury Meet Held Today

BW Education adheres to the same brand strength and trust. ‘Top Education Brands in India’ nominations was evaluated by a grand and eminent jury comprising of sector experts and veterans; among them were Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE, Padma Shri Dr. Pritam Singh, Chairman, LEAD, Mamta Saika, COO, Bharti Foundation, Dilip Puri, Founder & CEO, Indian School of Hospitality, Dr Lata Vaidyanathan, Director, TERI Prakriti School.

Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe said, “Many institutions are doing pretty well and recognising them by an industry organisation, Businessworld, will motivate them further to do even better”

Lata Vaidyanathan expressed that there is more scope for people to get into this frame. She said, “When it comes to BW, the outreach is so intense and immense. Coming from BW, it is one of the most authentic awards because a subject like education, which includes schools and higher education, is sometimes not given its right place.”

She added, “I do believe that, in the future of this country, the way in which it progresses is both materialistically as well as human index possibilities, I think this (BW Awards) is one of the best platforms”.

India’s Top Education Brands are not merely the representatives of India’s education ecosystem but knowledge hubs in themselves. Some of them have been working in the sector since India’s independence and have played a crucial role in contributing to India’s forward march.

Mamta Saika pointed out that there are over 1.7 million schools in our country and each day there are millions of teachers who are shaping up the future of millions of students. She said, “It was privilege to look at work of the schools and the principals, to learn from them and to admire the commitment with which the work is being done.”

She added, “We are hoping that the selection of the winners, the eminent educators and schools, will inspire rest of the schools to come forward and do better for our children, young people and the future of our country”.

The awards highlight and reward the quality and diversity of educational brands, projects, and people. The ‘Top Education Brand’ Education Awards aim to encourage the raising of educational projects, services & product standards throughout the industry and are the accolade of excellence throughout the education sector.

Dilip Puri said, “It was particularly interesting to see categories which recognises institutions in all aspects of education, be it pedagogy, be it innovation, be it collaboration or be it industry connect. I think that these aspects, which are gradually transforming the education landscape, are able to make the school children ready for university and graduates for the industry.”

He added, “I congratulate all the winners and look forward to see many more people participate and nominate themselves for these awards in the coming years and I am sure these awards will go on to be very distinctive and unique for the education industry”.
