BW Education Hosts Transformative Event On Shifts And Innovations In Education Post-Pandemic

The day-long event witnessed insightful sessions underscoring the need for education to become more inclusive, skill-driven and adaptable to future challenges.

Top Education Brands Summit & Awards 2024, organised by BW Education in association with BW Businessworld concluded successfully with insightful sessions focussing on the monumental changes in the education landscape post-pandemic.
The sessions explored the evolving roles of educational institutions, policy reforms like the National Education Policy (NEP) and the increased role of edtech, with a sharp focus on the critical need for quality assurance in these areas.

Highlights

The event featured sessions on the burning issues in education sector: 

Session on 21st Century skills: This session focussed on how to integrate essential skills closely into the education system at both school and college levels. 

Session on changing trends in placements: This session discussed evolving trends in placements and recruiter perceptions over the last decade. Topics of discussion include:

Session on helping hinterland India stand up again: This session addressed the profound impact the pandemic had on education in rural and small-town India, particularly among female students. The major issues addressed include: urgent need for assessing and reintegrating students who have dropped out of school during the pandemic; government and non-government initiatives to bring education back to these areas and specific efforts needed to promote the education and skilling of female students and the long-term benefits of these initiatives.

BW Education captured this as a critical moment to explore how education can become more inclusive, skill-driven and adaptable in an ever-changing global landscape. The sessions featured leading experts, policymakers and educators, providing attendees with insights into the future of education and how it can continue to evolve for the better.

The awards

The summit was followed by an award ceremony, honouring 39 extraordinary changemakers in the field of education who have demonstrated brilliance and leadership in their respective disciplines, promoting innovation and growth in their organisations. Among the winners, 22 received awards in Gold category, 10 received Silver awards and the rest 7 received Bronze awards.
