BW Businessworld Awards Edutech 2022 Winners

BW Edutech Summit & Awards is India's biggest gathering of Edutech stakeholders under one roof. The initiative calls out all the edtech founders, institutional leaders, education publishers, educators to participate and make a mark in the future of education technology.

Rewarding the excellence of edtech in India, BW Education on August 20, 2022 presented the award to 19 winners at The Imperial, New Delhi, in a day long programme named 'Transformation In Education Through Technology & Skilling'.

This year the summit received more than 100 nominations out of which a panel of distinguished jurors selected the most promising leaders. Padma Shri TV Mohandas Pai, Chairman, Manipal Global Education, was the Jury Chair. Jury members constituted of Jaspreet Bindra, Founder, The Tech Whisperer; Virendra K Tiwari, Director, IIT Kharagpur; Abhishek Maheshwari, CEO, AESL; Dr Punam Sahgal, Management Consultant & Behavioural Science Trainer & Former Dean, IIM Lucknow; Seema Jhingan, Co-Founder, LexCounsel; Sudhanshu Pant, Head-HR, The British School, New Delhi; Vipul Singh, Divisional VP & Head-HR, ADP and Dr Annurag Batra, Chairman & Editor-in-Chief, BW Businessworld & exchange4media Group.

BW Edutech 2022 Winners

The event began at 10:15 AM by Dr Batra's inaugural address, followed by Navin Mittal IAS's (Commissioner of Collegiate Education & Technical Education, Govt of Telangana) special address, who was the Chief Guest for the occasion.

A powerpoint presentation on 'Use of Business Simulations and Games as Teaching Tools' was demonstrated by Prof Sanjay Fuloria, Professor, ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad. Later, the day saw various insightful interactive panel discussions on 21st-century skills, making India a global destination for education, the benefits and challenges of dual degrees and diversity and inclusion in the education sector, followed by the award ceremony for leading edutech in the nation.
