Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, Founder of SAI Internation Education Group Passes Away

Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, founder of SAI International Education Group passed away on 3rd June 2021, due to post COVID19 complications.

Sahoo was a noted educationist, Advisor at the Ministry of State level for the Government of Odisha. Wherein he was advisor-cum-working president of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan, the stature body made to establish, operate and manage 314 Odisha Adarsha Vidyalas. One of its chief objectives being to bring quality English medium CBSE education to schools in the state. 

He had tested positive for COVID19 in late April and had recovered. However, due to complications post COVID19, he was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad, on Thursday. He was 58. 

Sahoo was a leading educationist and entrepreneur and played a pivotal role in transforming government education in Odisha. Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik, tweeted, “Deeply saddened to know about the passing away of noted educationist and entrepreneur, Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo. As Advisor of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan, he had a pioneering role in transforming Govt School education. My condolences to his family, friends and students.”
