Amity Conducts Training Programme On Management Strategies

Amity Institute of Environmental Sciences (AIES), Amity University Uttar Pradesh, has organised a five-day training programme on the theme, 'Management Strategies for Environmental Health and Safety: A Step Towards Achieving SDGs', in association with Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (CSIR), Lucknow, from 16 January to 20 January 2023.

The programme is aimed at building sensitivity and developing awareness on Environmental Health Sciences amongst the participants, learning about the harmful effects of toxicants including pesticides, metals, solvents etc., attaining knowledge about the basic toxicological principles and developing skills for the protection of health of individuals exposed to chemicals at their workplaces and encouraging thinking, reasoning, enquiring and making decisions about the ill-effects of toxic elements on the environment.
