Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan congratulates IAS Amit Khare on his retirement as Secretary of, Ministry of Education. On September 30, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) hosted a facilitation event for IAS Amit Khare. K Sanjay Murthy, IAS, will take over as Secretary, Ministry of Education.
Amit Khare is an IAS officer from the Bihar/Jharkhand cadre from the 1985 batch. In December 2019, he was appointed Secretary, Ministry of Education (Department of Higher Education).
Amit Khare remarked during the occasion, "I am not retiring, but superannuating, and I will continue to work for the development of the nation." Our students hold the key to the nation's future. As a result, we must all take care of them and gradually develop their potential through the execution of National Education Policy.”
Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan stated on the occasion, "Amit Khare has set a milestone in the area of higher education with his knowledge and a vast range of experience in many fields." He has been quite helpful in advising me on different elements of National Education Policy 2020.”
