AISECT's Kaushal Vikas Yatra Concludes

AISECT Group, India’s social enterprise, has completed Kaushal Vikas Yatra on 15 October 2023. Started on 18 September, the yatra covered over 400 cities and saw a huge participation of more than 15000 students.

Kaushal Vikas Yatra was started with an aim of creating awareness about the New Education Policy 2020 and career counselling among the students. The importance of skill development was explained to the students and their queries were addressed along with providing career guidance. The yatra was flagged off by political figures, school/university figures, etc from different places across India.

Covering a total of more than 600 AISECT centres, the Kaushal Vikas Yatra also saw participation from other 500 schools and colleges where the students were made aware about various schemes that are functioning under Kaushal Vikas Yatra such as NULM, NSQF, Microsoft Rise and the new activities that are undertaken by AISECT Group – Banking, Online toll pay service, AISECT Learn online free courses, Rojgarmantra portal.

On the closing of AISECT Kaushal Vikas Yatra, Siddharth Chaturvedi, Director, AISECT Group says, “Through these Yatra AISECT group aims to educate the youth of our country about importance of inculcating skill-based oriented curriculum in our studies. In the coming years, Kaushal Vikas will play a key role in our country’s development and a person proficient in skilling will have a better chance at employment.”

Once the Kaushal Yatra was completed, on-the-spot counselling was organised at all AISECT centres for students from other cities for the next two-three days, who were not able to attend it.
