The 13th Amity International Moot Court Competition-2023 saw 36 teams compete, with Symbiosis College of Law Noida winning and Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai as the first runner-up. The Best Oralist award was given to Aditya Dev from Army Institute of Law, Mohali and the Best Researcher award to Mahi Agarwal from Himanchal Pradesh National Law University. A souvenir was also released during the Valedictory Session.
“Students experience a lot of uncertainty and doubt about their future and I understand this because I once experienced it myself. Since success can only be attained through hard work, students must make this their greatest strength in a world full of uncertainties. Everyone should become the voice of those no one hears, fight for their rights and begin your professional journey with positivity”, Justice Girish Kathpalia, Judge, Delhi High Court, said.
“The speaker emphasises the importance of being a human being, working humanely and having good thoughts. They emphasise the importance of saying "no" when necessary, learnings and asking questions. They encourage students to accept their own knowledge and not compare themselves to others. They also encourage students to have faith in "CMW" and remain committed to their goals”, Justice Saurabh Banerjee, Judge, Delhi High Court, averred.
“The moot court competition offers practical experience in professional life for students at Amity Law School. They should utilise this opportunity to achieve their goals, set goals, maintain a balance between work and life and be kind and helpful. They should also raise their voice against injustices and strive to be kind and helpful to others”, Justice Neena Bansal Krishna, Judge, Delhi High Court, said.

Students have the chance to practice debating, negotiating, problem-solving, critical thinking and analysis through participation in moot court competitions, which provide insightful learning opportunities.
