In an exclusive interaction with BW, Dr. Suborno Bose expressed that the hospitality sector is booming and has 8-10% year on year growth. He also says that Hotel Management is no longer about hotels only but also about other sectors like retail etc. Furthermore, he talks about the 5th edition of Young Chef Olympiad that brings the 51 countries in one nation to showcase their dishes. IIHM’s major focus with the Olympiad is to have the world class mentors give a guest lecture to their students. Dr. Bose told that IIHM, with government collaboration, in Doha is set to open this Feb and aims to get IIHM a global presence.
