Swami Vivekananda Subharti University and Indo Korea Business Culture Centre have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, aiming to promote international collaboration and academic excellence. The agreement will teach the Korean language, providing employment opportunities and educational experience for students.
The agreement aims to enhance educational and cultural relations between India and Korea by conducting academic and cultural exchanges, research activities, student and faculty exchange programmes and educational programmes in Korean and Hindi languages.
Subharti University plans to introduce Korean language courses to enhance students' educational experience and career prospects. The collaboration will offer opportunities for faculty and students to engage in research and academic excellence. At the same time, programmes and cultural exchanges will provide employment opportunities in Korean companies in South Korea, India or elsewhere. The Korean language will be taught in the university during this session.
The MoU aims to foster collaboration between Swami Vivekananda Subharti University (SVSU) and Indo Korea Business Culture Center (IKBCC), focusing on collaborative language, research, student-faculty exchanges and educational programme development.
The Indo-Korea Business Culture Centre (IKBCC) was established in 2023 to enhance relations between Korea and India, focussing on business, education, culture and medical exchanges. The centre welcomes members from Indian and Korean communities, non-resident Indians (NRIs) and the Korean diaspora worldwide.
The Indo-Korea Business Culture Centre has signed MOUs with top Indian universities, including Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Mata Sundri College for Women at the University of Delhi and Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, to establish Korean language courses and academic and industry-related skill development courses connected to Korea.
