Successful Entrepreneurs Enthrall Students With Real Life Professional Experience

Numerous path breaking entrepreneurs and industry practitioners gathered during the ISBF Alumni Meet 2019 at Indian School of Business & Finance (ISBF) campus, their alma mater on Saturday, January 19, 2019. In a panel discussion on ‘Developing Professional Potential & Capabilities Among Students’, organized during the meet, entrepreneurs and executives in senior positions in the industry were present to share their real life experience of transitions from student to professional. Aryapriya Ganguly, Associate Professor in Social & Applied Sociology, ISBF curated the panel made up of Siddharth Nayyar (2014), who has a Start-Up called AFK Gaming; Sarthak Gupta (2016), who transformed his pharmaceutical business into an export hub; Abhimanyu Bose (2015), who is into journalism and Neha Malhotra, who was from the batch of 2010, when their alma mater shifted from Okhla to the present one.

During the session, the alumnae shared the nuances of their professional journey, and some very useful insights on how students can take their professional journey to the next level. They also explained how their learning experiences at the institute proved to be very heartening and helpful for their professional life. 

During the Alumni meet, the Founder & Director of ISBF, Dr.Jitin Chadha said, “For some of the alumni here, our journey has been nearly the same. Thirteeen years ago, when we ventured with the idea of ISBF, now not only seems a successful reality when we see these successful alumni in our presence.” While interacting with the alumnae, he also mentioned, “It is cherishing to see that students who have moved on from an institution that you had conceptualized, gives ones immense pleasure”.

While enthralling the present batches, events like ‘Guess Who’, ‘Reminisces’, ‘Memory Train’ and AlmaCompete, where the different batches of the alumni were made to compete with each other.
