Shiv Nadar University, India's youngest Institution of Eminence, is hosting the 'Young Thinkers Forum (YFT) Summer School Programme 2024' and 'Shiv Nadar Internship Programme 2024' for students in Classes 8 to 12 from June 1-7, 2024. The weeklong programme will introduce students to liberal arts, management, engineering and sciences, offering academic enrichment, cultural exploration and recreational activities. Around 100 students from across India are expected to participate.

YTF offers various programmes, including Winter School, Weekend Programme, Shiv Nadar Internship Programme (SNIP) and Masterclasses. The 4th edition of the '7-day' residential School Programme combines academic learning with fun activities, promoting mentorship and peer learning. Activities include lab work, masterclasses on AI, archaeology, creative writing, economics, STEM, sustainability, entrepreneurship and recreational activities like sports, yoga, calligraphy, pottery and horse riding. A gala night and quiz keep students engaged. Additionally, students can visit an organic farm and the KNMA museum, followed by an Eco-friendly workshop on World Environment Day.

Participants will live on campus at Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR, experiencing the vibrant academic and social environment. The Summer School will feature renowned guest speakers sharing insights and experiences, culminating in an interactive session facilitated by the HCL Foundation, KNMA, and Atal Incubation Centres (AIC).

The Young Thinkers Forum at Shiv Nadar University has been awarded the prestigious ‘2024 Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia (MENASA) Recognition of Merit Award’ for its innovative practices in student development. The award was presented at the annual National Association of Student Personnel Administrators conference at Qatar University. The forum's summer school programme aims to foster student collaboration and teamwork.
