School Diary Expands To Sri Lanka

School Diary to digitise 10 international schools in Sri Lanka and add 21,000 plus students to its platform.

Funded by The Chennai Angels, School Diary, an Indian Ed-tech company specialising in school management solutions, enters the Sri Lankan market with an order from Sri Lanka’s largest international school network, Lyceum International Schools. With this win, School Diary is set to digitise 10 international schools in Sri Lanka, adding more than 21,000 new users to its platform.

Lyceum has partnered with School Diary to enhance parent-teacher communication, streamline administrative tasks such as fee management and admissions and improve student engagement and safety. School Diary will implement its core features, real-time updates, smoother admission processes, attendance tracking, team management, and customised fee payment solutions, tailored to Lyceum's specific requirements. With these enhancements, Lyceum aims to provide parents and educators with a holistic view of each student’s progress and safety, while ensuring transparency in daily activities.

A standout feature of School Diary’s offerings is its Child Safety Solution for school buses. This solution enables schools to monitor driver behaviour, optimise route planning and manage attendance and dispersal efficiently. Parents also benefit by tracking their child's school bus in real time and receiving automated pick-up and drop-off notifications.

With a presence in 13 countries, School Diary is building a strong global footprint, leveraging SaaS technology to solve key challenges faced by educational institutions worldwide. Till date, School Diary has 1100 plus lifelong registrations and 4,50,000 users on the platform. The expansion into Sri Lanka is part of School Diary’s broader vision to become the go-to digital platform for schools across Asia.
