MIT India Conference To Be Held In Feb

MIT India Conference is a premier conference organized by students, staff and faculties across different departments at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The conference promotes MIT and broader communities’ engagement and interactions with India’s leaders from various disciplines, including science, technology, arts, entrepreneurship, economics,  social justice, spirituality, and politics.

The theme of 2019 conference is “India’s Competitive Edge”. The conference aims to create an inclusive environment to celebrate India’s diversity and inspiring achievements while exploring the challenges and opportunities for future endeavors.

Since 2011, the MIT India Conference has brought together visionaries from various industries, including the government, technology, energy, finance, social impact, and the film industry. In the past, we have had the privilege of hearing from many distinguished keynote speakers, including various Union Cabinet Ministers; Minister from the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha; (Upper and the Lower house of the Parliament) Founders, Innovators, Entrepreneurs, Chief Indian Economists, Top industrialists and Bollywood celebrities, among many others.

The 2019 conference will put a spotlight on some of India’s biggest innovators and thought-leaders and explore transformations taking place in the economic, social, and technological sectors in India. The upcoming conference is expected to bring over 400 attendees from the MIT community and beyond, and has many great organizations sponsoring the event, including Atomic Launch, who are focusing their efforts on building an entrepreneurial bridge between the U.S and India.
