Manipal Prolearn Expands Into Hyderabad; To Launch Data Science Course

Manipal ProLearn, a division of Manipal Global Education Services (MaGE), announced its new campus for delivering it's highly successful Data Science programme in the city today. 

Dr Yogesh Kumar Bhatt, Vice President- Education and Training, Manipal ProLearn said, “There are over three lakh engineering students who graduate to join the workforce every year in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. With the nature of jobs evolving quickly, especially in the STEM-based roles, it is necessary for the youth to upskill, to remain relevant even in the short term. The programme in Data Science, through its cutting-edge the curriculum is well-aligned to provide job-ready professionals to meet talent requirements of the industry”.

The programme shall provide a PG Diploma from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) along with Manipal Placement Guarantee, which is assured job placements, for all students who complete the course successfully. The programme incorporates eight months of classroom training and three months of internship. 

Fuelled by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, demand for data science professionals has been growing exponentially. The supply of skilled candidates, however, is unable to grow at the same rate as the demand. Manipal ProLearn has been the pioneer in realizing the potential of data science and started their programme ‘Post-Graduate Diploma in Data Science’ in association with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) back in 2016. 

Manipal ProLearn’s PG Diploma in Data Science has been rated as one of the top three analytics courses in the country for two years in a row (Ratings by Analytics India). The training for the past six batches were delivered in Manipal ProLearn’s state-of-the-art the campus in Bengaluru and have been widely accepted and appreciated by learners and corporates seeking talent in Data Science space.

The alumni of the program have been placed in Amazon, Fractal Analytics, Equifax, Big Basket, Infosys and Deloitte, to name a few. Some of the students, after they completed the programme, have also been placed in Hyderabad. The first batch from Hyderabad will kick start on 22nd July and shall accommodate 30 candidates. The training shall be held at Manipal ProLearn’s campus in Hitec City, Hyderabad.
