The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the revised schedule for Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024. The exams for MBA and MCA courses will now be held on August 4. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, starting July 27.
Initially scheduled for July 5-10, the exams were rescheduled to avoid overlapping with final semester university exams in some institutions. Candidates are required to use their application number and password generated during registration to download their KEA PGCET 2024 hall tickets from the website.
According to an official notification by KEA, "PGCET-2024 for MBA and MCA courses will be conducted on August 4, 2024, as per the revised timetable. Registered candidates must download their admission tickets from the KEA website on or after July 27, 2024, and appear for the exam."
The PGCET exam for MBA and MCA courses will take place in two shifts on August 4 (Sunday): from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The exam will consist of 100 questions, with a maximum score of 100 marks.
The revised schedule for ME and MTech courses will be announced soon. GATE 2024 qualifiers can directly register for MTech admission without appearing for KEA PGCET 2024.
The exam will assess candidates' proficiency in general knowledge, analytical ability, logical reasoning, computer awareness, quantitative analysis, and the English language.
