JEE Advanced 2019: Every Detail You Need To Know About JEE Advanced Exam

JEE Advanced 2019 examination pattern has been changed this year. The exam will be arranged by IIT Roorkee on May 27. There will two sittings for JEE Advanced Exam paper 1 and paper 2. Students who have cleared JEE Main and coming under 2, 45, 000 rank would be eligible for JEE Advanced. The exam will be computer based. The registrations for JEE Advanced will begin on May 3 and last until May 9, 2019.

JEE Advanced 2019 eligibility

  • Students should have passed the class 12th exam, not before 2018 or 2019.
  • Aspirants' date of birth should be October 1, 1994 or above. The PwD candidates have a limitation of 5 years.
  • Students can take JEE advanced twice in a span of two years.
  • After JEE Advanced students have to make it up to the cut off of IIT.

JEE Main Result 2019: Steps to check results on mobile:

Step 1: Open your browser

Step 2: Type jeemain.nic.in

Step 3: On the homepage, click on 'JEE Main result 2019' link

Step 4: A new tab will open

Step 5: Enter your roll number and other asked details

Step 6: Download the result.

In the April session, a rise of 6,543 candidates for engineering courses has been seen. Candidate must be among the top 245,000 ranks in Paper I to be eligible to participate in the JEE Advanced exam which is scheduled to be conducted on May 27th, 2019.

About JEE Mains

JEE(Main)-April 2019 has two papers, Paper-1 (BE /B Tech) and Paper-2 (B.Arch. /B.Planning). Candidates may take Paper-1 (B E /B Tech) or Paper-2 (B Arch /BPlanning.) or both as per the course(s) they are seeking admission to.

JEE Main score is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and even private engineering and architecture courses. A cut-off will also be released for the candidates to qualify for JEE Advanced exam which is an entrance gateway for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
