International Conference On Semiconductor Technologies Kicks Off At Amity University

The International Conference on "Semiconductor Technologies – Materials to Chips" at Amity University (Sept 18-20, 2024) explores India's semiconductor advancements, featuring panel discussions, technical sessions and poster presentations.

Amity University Uttar Pradesh Noida campus, in association with Society of Semiconductor Devices (SSD) & Semiconductor Society (India), organised a three-day International Conference on the theme, “Semiconductor Technologies – Materials to Chips” from 18-20, September 2024. The aim of this conference is to deliberate upon how India is taking lead in the manufacturing of semiconductor materials to chip and identify the role of research from academia and R&D institutions in this mission. 

On this occasion, an Abstract e-Book of the Conference was released and also present on the occasion were V.K. Jain, Distinguished Scientist & Professor, Amity Institute of Advanced Research and Studies; Neeraj Sharma, Dy. Director General, Amity Foundation for Science, Technology & Innovation Alliances (AFSTIA); B. K. Murthy, Dean (Translational Research and Entrepreneurship Development) Science, Engineering and Technology and O. P. Sinha, Acting Director & Head- Amity Institute of Nano Technology. During the three-day Conference a Panel Discussion on the theme “Semiconductor Industry – Academia interaction for strengthening the India Semiconductor Mission”, will also be held along with Technical Sessions and Poster Presentations.
