Indian Youth In Covid Time

The pain witnessed by humanity during this Covid 19 is beyond imagination, even the youths succumb to its cruel turn. A countless number of people lost their lives and loved ones. However ultimately it has to relent and now we are experiencing it, to some extent. People have experienced dreadful day and night during this pandemic especially the youth, and the main reason behind this was the fear of getting infected with the coronavirus and the uncertainty about the job and business. Many youths lost their jobs and some of them have even to compromise with low salary and many are desperate in search of a job, as the enterprise of many people has slowed down. India is a country of youth and when the youth of the country will be happy and prosperous, then by going, the country will be able to achieve new dimensions of progress and create a new definition of self-reliance. With the steps of courage, we overcome the most difficult obstacles. Every problem, big or small, has a solution. Every puzzle has an answer, and every maze has a way out.

After any adverse situation, youth should evaluate their situation and decide which of among them they can control and then they must start focussing on, what they can control considering available resources and options that exist. The real weapon of youth is the ability to stay positive. Waiting hours can be long, but with hope, we can maintain our balance and move forward in life, Change is inevitable. Even the most capable person also experiences ups and downs in life. Only by accepting the reality of today we can move forward and create our own kingdom.

Youth must not develop grouchy personality they must always remember that the door of luck opens only when a person works hard, just like when all the doors are closed then the airplane can fly. In the same way when all the doors are closed, then man should make up the courage to fly in the air. Work is Worship, Karma is Worship. No work is too small, with the progressive outlook many youths had already left their lucrative jobs in a foreign country and returned back to their villages where they started their start-ups and now, they are earning in crores through self-employment even before Covid-19. Disasters and problems provide new opportunities, youth must have a vision to see positivity in all situation like ignoring the empty vision to see and feel that “glass is half full” is commendable. Until a part of the mirror is not black, we cannot see our face in it, these disasters and problems are also like that dark part of the mirror which gives a glimpse of us and our inner qualities. We start generating many ideas and options, otherwise, under normal circumstances, we keep walking on the same path.

Courage calmness and wisdom are the three qualities that make a successful person. If you are sensible enough to know to who push in your life and to whom pull off from your life, your life will be simplified, you will see a miraculous change in your life. Time ripens all thing; no man is born wise so it is time to introspect and be a better version of yourself. Never forget that sky is the limit so keep on going until you reach your destination and touch the sky. As rightly said in Geeta that “never be helpless and never to run away”. Health is the greatest wealth one more time it is proved, as a person with good immunity suffers less in Covid so start pondering on your health, lifestyle and eating hobbies also before rescheduling your life chart.

We must start focusing on self-employment breaking the conservative outlook where employment only means job, particularly of government. So, focus on enhancing your skill i.e. analytical ability, technical and digital skills, problem-solving skills and emotional intelligence. Always keep your CV and LinkedIn profile updated. Do your own SWOT analysis, and then work on it. We can join lots of skill development courses online by staying at home at this time. It is time to fulfil our hobbies, enjoy the company of our family, do meditation. We can also start writing a blog or diary, which could be turned in form of a book someday. Nowadays Government is also introduced many changes in the Banking sector to promote small scale local business to take advantage of it and be self-reliant rather than being a job seeker, create a job. A person who can return to his motherland after covering a distance of a thousand km on foot can also create employment for himself. Look up at the stars and not down at your feet try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. be curious.

Always choose a career keeping in mind your interest and skills because you are never going to be happy being anyone other than yourself. History is always created by those who think beyond boxes, be one of them and create a history. Due to Corona, many fields have come to a standstill in terms of career, but many new opportunities have got their ways like rediscovering business models, e-education, healthcare management, pharmaceuticals sector, e-commerce, data science, digital marketing, agricultural technology, risk insurance, YouTube, NGOs and the service sector, organic farming. So, it’s the right time to take the right decision. Challenge and opportunity are like a double-edged sword. Keep your mind ready for the things that you have not expected. Then you can also deal with unexpected events that you were in a dilemma about yourself.

Life is a battle; it has to be fought fearlessly. The life of successful people is full of ups and downs. Then whether you talk about Reliance founder Dhirubhai Ambani, Infosys founder Narayan Murthy, Mountaineer Arunima Sinha or Eklavya. Everyone believed in themselves and tried again after taking lessons from experiences in difficult situations.

A man is the product of his thoughts what he thinks he becomes, like six runs can also be scored off the last ball, it's time for hard work, we have to put in more effort because the airplane also runs very fast on the runway before it takes off in the air.

It is true that finding a new path is challenging, but this is the only solution, we don't have to stick to plan A, plan B and plan C because we have the option till plan Z. Youth comes but once in a while, never forget that Optimism, determination, indomitable will power makes every impossible task possible, if there is hope, there is courage, if there is courage, then there is success. Our youth population are our biggest asset, keep your enthusiasm high, you will create your own “Kingdom of Dream”.
