Indian School Of Public Policy Invites Applications For Its Flagship One-Year Programme In Policy, Design And Management

The Indian School of Public Policy invites applications for the first round of admissions for its flagship programme in Policy, Design and Management. Conceptualised and designed for aspiring public policy managers, practitioners and administrators, the one-year Master’s equivalent programme will ground students in a strong policy foundation, and arm them with core skills in policy design, implementation, management and assessment. The last date to submit application in the first round is 15th January 2019.

The first session will commence from August 2019 at the program campus in Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi and will comprise fifty students. The program will have an annual fee of INR 7 lacs and will be backed by need-based financial-aid ranging from 25% to 100% waiver on fees for all deserving students. 

Talking about ISPP’s mission and aim to build a flourishing training and research platform, Dr. Shubhashis Gangopadhyay, Dean, Indian School of Public Policy said, “We are delighted to announce the admissions of ISPP’s Founding Class. We are looking for students who have not just performed well academically, but also found a way to engage with community, society and issues beyond the classroom. Our approach to admissions is holistic and rigorous and we place significant value on aptitude and commitment to making change in our society through public policy. We have already received interest from prospective applicants from different countries, almost all the States in India and graduates from leading institutes like the IITs, IIMs, Delhi University and others. We look forward to creating a truly diverse Founding Class”

Prospective students with a graduation degree (in any discipline) can apply by summiting application forms available on the ISPP website. Those, who will be shortlisted, shall be called for an in-person interview and group discussion. There is no age restriction for application but the expected median age of the class is 26 years.

The admission process is split into three rounds. The second and the third rounds of admissions will begin in mid-January 2019 and first week of April 2019, respectively. For further details, please log on to www.ispp.org.in.
