The ISC (Class 12) and ICSE (Class 10) examination results were announced today at 11 AM by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Students can now check their results via the official websites cisce.org and results.cisce.org.
There were approximately 3,00,000 students who took the exams. The pass percentage for ICSE (Class 10) is 99.47 per cent and for ISC (Class 12), it's 98.19 per cent. This year's results show a slight improvement compared to 2023. In the previous year, the pass percentage for ICSE Class 10 exams was 98.94 per cent and 96.93 per cent for Class 12 exams.
From February 12 to April 3, the council held ISC board exams. On the other hand, the ICSE Class 10 exams took place from February 21 to March 28. Students can now obtain and check their CISCE results on the official websites cisce.org and results.cisce.org. Results can also be obtained through the DigiLocker and UMANG app.
Starting in 2024, the ICSE and ISC compartmental examinations will be discontinued. Students who want to improve their marks or grades within the same examination year can take improvement tests in up to two subjects. The details of these improvement examinations, which are scheduled for July 2024, will soon be available on the official website.
After the results are announced, the CISCE will allow students to ask for re-checking and re-evaluation of their marks.
