How Technology Is Transforming Education

Technology has touched almost every aspect of our lives today and education is no exception. In numerous ways, technology has profoundly changed education. It has massively expanded access to education. Nowadays, huge amounts of information (books, images, audio, videos) are available at one’s fingertips on the internet and opportunities for formal learning are accessible online worldwide.

"The future is going to be hybrid. Yes, there will be opportunities to colocate nearer to the industry. So campus sizes may go down. But of course, campuses are also places for immersive learning; social learning is also very important," Siddharth Shahani, Executive President & Co-Founder, ATLAS SkilTech University, highlights. 

He further adds, "I don't believe that campuses will disappear, I think campuses will become a lot more efficient. On 100 acre campus - if we have 10-20k students, with technology 100 acres will be able to do 50k students. Because we will have a hybrid, we will have off-campus locations where classes can be beamed which are of great quality."
