HITS is a leading Indian university offering over 100 programmes across various academic disciplines. The AICTE approves all UG and PG programmes, while the NBA accredits engineering programmes. HITS is one of the few universities in India to be internationally accredited by The Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) for B.Tech programmes. The institution focuses on Industry 4.0 Ready Programmes and Engineering Degrees in Clean Energy, Cyber Security, Avionics and Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning. The curriculum is developed in partnership with industry experts, integrating real-world experience and practical skills to equip students for the competitive job market.

Infrastructure at HITS

The institution has 16 research centers, aircraft hangars, a multi-storey library, a moot court, incubation centers, a 15-acre sports playground, cafeterias, residential and transportation facilities and a dedicated Office of International Affairs. HITS is a pioneer in aerospace and aviation programmes, with research centres focused on satellite technology, defense technology studies, photo tonics, Lidar research, structural impact crash simulation, autonomous systems, space propulsion, composite fabrication, avionics, aerodynamics and more.

HITS is approved by the UGC as a Center for Online and Digital Education (CODE) that provides online education to learners worldwide. HITS has been certified with QS I – Gauge E Lead for E-learning excellence for academic digitization. 

Incubation centres at HITS 

The Hindustan Technology Business Incubator (HTBI) and Hindustan Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre (HEIC) are incubation centres that foster innovation and entrepreneurship on campus. With 100 patents granted, 200 published and 350 filed, HITS has a 4 star plus ranking in the Innovation Council of India.
