Dr Pritam Singh: An Enthusiastic Leader

Dr Pritam Singh was as much a warm person as an enthusiastic leader who made each individual student feel special. On taking over the leadership of MDI, Gurgaon, he spent time identifying all the stakeholders and how to help each of them. Soon enough, we student representatives got a call from his office to present plans we were making for the first edition of the national management convention, Delphique. 

He made the biggest contribution to its success by getting eminent speakers and sponsors on board. But more than that, what stands out in our memory 25 years later is the way he treated us. He paid attention to the views of us, students, when we were in our 20s, addressed us by name and accepted our suggestions after debating. Dr Singh’s leadership was an effective real-life case study that enhanced our learnings in b-school and went on to inspire many of today’s corporate leaders.
