Hari Shankar Singhania School of Business recently appointed Dr Gregory J Dunn as its new Dean. With a background in academic leadership, curriculum innovation and international business education, he is equipped to lead HSB into a new era of growth.
With a PhD in Business Strategy and Policy from the National University of Singapore Business School, Dr Dunn has rich international experience. He has developed and taught in business schools in diverse and challenging environments across Central Asia, Saudi Arabia and Italy. His prior roles include serving as the dean of two business schools in Central Asia and, most recently, as business programme director and associate professor at the American University of Rome. He teaches and conducts research in strategy, innovation management, organisational design and entrepreneurship.
His tenure as the head of prominent business schools in Central Asia was marked by the launch of new research institutes and the achievement of AACSB candidacy for the American University of Central Asia, as well as growth in student enrollment and interdisciplinary programme offerings. Also a recipient of the NACRA Paul R Lawrence Fellowship in 2021, Dr Dunn has been recognised for his academic contributions.
Dr Dunn expressed his excitement about joining HSB and the adventure to come. Under his visionary leadership, HSB is set to embark on a journey towards excellence.
