DPS Indirapuram hosted a German fest to enrich the linguistic and cultural understanding of Germany among Grade 5 students. The event was graced by Shilpa Sharma and Matthias Dunnwald, project heads from the Goethe Institute and Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi, respectively.

The fest showcased a variety of activities designed to reinforce the students' syntactical and lexical knowledge acquired in the preceding year. Activities such as dance, tattoo making, Obst Salat (fruit salad), Zahlen Buzz (number buzz) and sich vorstellen (self-introduction) engaged the students, fostering their cultural appreciation for Germany while testing their language skills.

Commenting on the event, Priya John, Principal, DPS Indirapuram, said, “The German Fest at DPS Indirapuram was a resounding success, leaving an everlasting impression on students and attendees. It served as a platform for linguistic enrichment and fostered cross-cultural understanding and appreciation. The fest exemplified our commitment to providing holistic education experiences beyond textbooks, enriching students' lives through cultural immersion and language learning. We look forward to organising more such enthusiastic events for our students.”
