BITS School of Management has announced a 100 per cent Summer Internship Placement for its third MBA Class of 2023-25, offering students internships from top companies across various industries and domains at a median stipend of Rs 2 lakh.
Axis Mutual Fund, JP Morgan Chase & Co., HDFC Bank, IDFC First Bank, Quantum AMC, Cervin Ventures, Avista Advisory and other top banking and financial services firms were among those drawn to the placement cycle. Notable consulting firms that attended included McKinsey & Co., EY, PwC and Gartner. Conglomerates, FMCG/FMCD groups, e-commerce, IT and telecom firms such as Flipkart, Big Basket, Vodafone Idea, Flex, Merilytics, Fanplay IOT and Arka Energy from the sustainable energy industry also made offers to the students.
BITSoM hosted 55 companies during the Summer Internship Placement cycle, with 131 students placed at a median stipend of Rs 2 lakh. Most were placed through campus, but 22 students proactively found their own internships, indicating a diverse student pool.
The cohort's average stipend for two months is Rs 1.75 lakh, with the top 10 per cent receiving Rs 3.42 lakh, the top 30 per cent receiving Rs 3.06 lakh and the top half receiving Rs 2.70 lakh.
