BIMTECH's Placement Success: 145+ Companies

Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) in India has achieved a 97.07 per cent placement rate for the 2022-24 batch, despite a slowdown in the MBA job market. The institute's highest international package offer was INR 24.43 LPA, while the average package was INR 11.10 LPA. BIMTECH placed 464 young and innovative minds across both international and national markets.

The placement drive for four two-year full-time programmes, PGDM, PGDM-International Business, PGDM-Retail Management and PGDM-Insurance Business Management, was conducted. The highest CTC for PGDM was INR 22.00 LPA, followed by PGDM (International Business) at INR 22.00 LPA, PGDM (Retail Management) at INR 24.43 LPA and PGDM (Insurance Business Management) at INR 14.00 LPA.

BIMTECH's successful placement drive attracted over 145 top companies from various sectors, including 39 new ones, including prominent companies like Landmark Group, Blackrock, EY India, Deloitte, Wipro Ltd., KPMG, Infosys, Make My Trip and SBI General Insurance Co. Ltd.

 BIMTECH offered students various roles, including Senior Analyst, Business Analyst, Area Manager, Consultant, Management Trainee, Digital Demand Analyst, Research Associate, Associate Solution Advisor, Deputy Manager and Business Development Manager. The prime recruiting sector was Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (37 per cent), followed by IT & ITES (18 per cent) and Consultancy (15 per cent). Other sectors contributing to hiring included Manufacturing (9 per cent), FMCG/FMCD (4 per cent), Retail (4 per cent), Logistics (2 per cent), Market Research (1 per cent) and Others (Media, Real-estate, Edutech, and Telecom) (10 per cent).

BIMTECH, founded by late Basant Kumar Birla, has transitioned from traditional selection methods to a hybrid recruiting process using online and offline techniques. The process includes Occupational personality questionnaires, case analysis and guesstimate rounds.
