Archana Shukla Appointed As Director-In-Charge Of IIM Lucknow

The Chairperson of the IIM Lucknow Board of Governors, N Chandrasekaran, has appointed Archana Shukla as Director-in-charge of IIM Lucknow, effective from the 4th of April 2024 until a regular Director is appointed. Archana Shukla is the senior Professor at IIM Lucknow and her appointment is as per Clause (9) of the IIM Act 2017.

Archana Shukla, a distinguished faculty member specialising in Human Resource Management at IIM Lucknow, brings over three decades of invaluable teaching and research expertise to her role.

 An IIT Kanpur graduate with a Ph.D. in Psychology, she was the inaugural chairperson of the Dr Ishwar Dayal Chair for Futuristic Issues in the Behavioural Sciences from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, prof Shukla has authoured a book, numerous papers and several case studies in the fields of knowledge management, organisational adaptation and organisational structure.
