Amity University, Noida Organises UG Research Conclave -2024

Amity University, Noida, is hosting the UnderGraduate Research Conclave-2024 from May 16 to 21, 2024. The event features 1200 final-year undergraduate students presenting their research, with half having published their papers in indexed conferences and journals

Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida organised, Under Graduate Research Conclave-2024 from 16 to 21 May 2024, for undergraduate students of final semesters. Around 1200 Undergraduate students have registered for the one-week Conclave and will be presenting their research papers during the conclave. Almost 50 per cent of the students have published their papers in indexed conferences/journals.


The Research Conclave for UG students is being organised at Institution/Domain levels and will provide them a forum to present their supervised independent learning course research work done on their research problems and encourage them to bring out quality research outputs.


Under the guidance of Deans and Institutional Heads, 27 institutions from 14 domains have organised 143 technical sessions during the week-long UG Research Conclave. In addition, experts from the Industry and Academia will be providing critical insights and suggestions on these presentations.
 

NEP 2020 has strongly emphasised integration of research in UG programs in addition to master’s and doctoral programs. NEP-2020 aims at creating a conducive ecosystem to catalyse research and innovation in HEIs. During the Research Conclave, final year UG students at Amity University will convert their major projects, capstone projects, thesis, seminar, etc. into a research paper and get it published in an indexed journal/conference proceedings or other forms of IPR like patent/copyright. 

 
Amity University, being a Research and Innovation driven University strongly emphasises and focuses upon providing an excellent research ecosystem to the students including high-end research labs, innovation incubators, technology enabling centre, IPR cell and centre for innovation and entrepreneurship development.
During the Inaugural Session, an Abstract Book providing a synopsis of research work was also released.
