Amazon India has announced the registration dates for the fourth edition of Machine Learning (ML) Summer School. The programme aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge on key ML topics and a platform to interact with Amazon Scientists. The free educational course will run from 31 May to 21 June 2024, covering eight modules including Supervised Learning, Deep Neural Networks, Dimensionality Reduction, Unsupervised Learning, Sequential models, Reinforcement learning, Generative AI and LLMs and Causal Inference. The free course will be conducted over four weekends in July, focusing on fostering a strong foundation in both theoretical concepts and practical applications.
The Machine Learning Summer School is open to all Indian engineering students pursuing Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degrees, with the top 3000 students enrolled in the programme, with eligibility requiring an assessment and graduation in 2025 or 2026.
Amazon's ML Summer School offers a unique learning experience that blends theoretical concepts with practical applications, catering to students with diverse ML backgrounds and aligning with industry trends and university courses, ensuring proficiency in key ML technologies by the end.
The Amazon ML Summer School, launched in 2021, has seen significant growth, with applications from over 3900 students and over 300 students earning opportunities. In 2023, the programme expanded to include engineering students from any Indian institute, attracting over 61000 applicants, including 20,000 women.
