ACT, a non-profit venture philanthropy platform, has opened applications for its third cohort of its ACT Fellowship Programme, providing early to mid-career professionals with hands-on experience in applying venture capital principles to catalyse tech-led innovations and developing leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
Programme Overview
The ACT Fellowship Programme is a 9-month, fully-funded apprenticeship designed for individuals aspiring to build a career in social impact, transition into impact investing, or become social entrepreneurs, starting in September 2024 and working alongside leading investors and entrepreneurs.
Fellows will work on various projects in ACT's four focus areas: education & skilling, public healthcare, climate action and gender equity, earning a monthly stipend of Rs 60,000. They will work on sector research, due diligence, investment pitches, portfolio management, impact assessment and industry events.
Previous cohorts come from various professional backgrounds.
Eligibility and Application Process
The 2024-25 cohort of the ACT programme will accept 6 Fellows, with applicants being Indian citizens, holding a graduate degree, having two years of full-time work experience and willing to relocate to Bombay, Delhi or Bangalore.
Interested candidates must submit an online application form and shortlisted candidates will be invited for a virtual case interview and in-person interview with ACT's leadership team.
