Wipro Forms Centre Of Excellence On Generative AI At IIT Delhi

IT firm Wipro has declared the inauguration of a centre of excellence focusing on generative artificial intelligence in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi).

This centre has been established within the premises of the Yardi School of Artificial Intelligence at IIT Delhi. The Centre of Excellence (CoE) will facilitate applied research in the domain of generative AI, as per an official statement.

The primary objective of this centre is to foster and enhance research and development capabilities across various emerging domains, including generative AI. It also aims to connect individuals with a pool of talented professionals, as stated by Wipro's Chief Technology Officer, Subha Tatavarti.

Wipro's CoE teams will collaboratively focus on devising innovative solutions utilizing AI, Machine Learning (ML), and other pertinent technologies, as stated by the corporation.

Experts posit that this centre of excellence will provide students with valuable insights into industry-centric predicaments, enabling them to comprehend the associated intricacies and work towards viable solutions.
