Sunstone Collaborates With Oracle To Start Certificate Courses

Sunstone has collaborated with Oracle to provide five tech and management certificate courses for the undergraduate and postgraduate students of Sunstone.

Oracle will deliver courses through a combination of online materials and live lectures, granting students access to a range of career opportunities, including positions such as Java Developer, Data Scientist, Cloud Application Developer, Business Intelligence Analyst and others. 

According to a recent report by the World Economic Forum, a blend of technical, social and emotional skills will be essential for most jobs by 2025. This implies that students will have to move beyond the traditional curriculum. A recent study has brought attention to a growing trend in improved job prospects for entry-level candidates in the latter part of 2023. This trend reflects an increase from 62 per cent in the first half of the year (HY1) to 65 per cent in the second half (HY2). Considering these developments, students are likely to become more conscious of the current demands within the industry and can take proactive steps to supplement their foundational curriculum with additional skills.
