Professional courses are gaining huge popularity among students in today’s world considering the cut-throat competition that exists. To help such students pursue their dream career, PNB Housing Finance Limited is offering Protsahan Scholarship. The scholarship will support the study for MBA, BA-LLB, and CA courses. 

About the Programme

PNB Housing Finance Limited (PNB-HFL), is offering the PNB Housing Finance Protsahan Scholarship to support the professional studies of underprivileged students. The idea behind introducing this scholarship is to encourage talented students towards becoming the capable leaders of tomorrow. 

Under this scholarship, the students pursuing MBA, BA-LLB or CA courses can avail financial assistance for their studies. The amount of scholarship ranges from INR 30,000 to INR 2 Lakh depending on the course they are pursuing. Three types of scholarships are given under this programme namely:

• Scholarship for MBA Students
• Scholarship for Law Students
• Scholarship for CA Students

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for PNB Housing Finance Protsahan Scholarship, the students need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• The students enrolled in first year of MBA (Marketing & Finance), third/fourth year of BA-LLB, CA Level 1/Level 2 programme can apply for this scholarship. 
• They must have secured at least 65% marks in Class 12 and Graduation (if applicable).
• The annual income of the family should be less than or equal to INR 8 Lakh per annum.
• For MBA scholarship, the students must be studying in one of the following institutions:
  • BIMTECH, Greater Noida
  • Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Nagpur
  • Indira Institute of Management, Pune
• For Law scholarship, the students must be studying at Army Institute of Law, Mohali. 

Selection Process and Scholarship Award

Students with a good academic record and proven financial need will be given preference under this scholarship. The selection process involves three stages that include:

• Initial screening of scholarship applications on the basis of academic merit and financial need
• Telephonic interview of shortlisted candidates
• Face-to-face interview (if required) for final selection

The students, who clear every stage of the selected process get financial assistance as given below:

• Scholarship for MBA students – INR 2 Lakh
• Scholarship for Law students – INR 75,000
• Scholarship for CA students – INR 30,000 (for Level 1) and INR 50,000 (for Level 2)

Key Documents Required

The students applying for this scholarship need to provide certain documents in support of their application. These documents include –

• Photo identity proof
• Address proof
• Income proof (income certificate, salary slips, form 16 A, etc.)
• Proof of admission (bonafide certificate, college ID card, etc.)
• Current academic year fee receipt
• Course fee structure
• Bank account details of the applicant (passbook copy or cancelled cheque)
