In a significant move towards fostering academic collaboration and research development, BR Ambedkar Bihar University and National Institute of Technology Patna have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU, intended at enhancing cooperation between the two educational institutions, was signed by Vice Chancellor, BRABU, Dinesh Chandra Rai and PK Jain, Director, NIT Patna.
Expressing his delight over this MoU, Vice Chancellor PDinesh Chandra Rai said that “The MoU outlines a framework for joint research projects, faculty exchanges, student collaborations and sharing of resources and expertise. Expressing enthusiasm about the partnership and the potential it holds for advancing education and research in the region. This collaboration is expected to open up new avenues for academic growth, innovation and knowledge exchange.”
He said it would provide opportunities for students and faculty members to engage in interdisciplinary research and skill development. This strategic alliance is poised to create a conducive environment for academic excellence and research innovation, benefiting students, faculty, and the academic community at large. Rai further said his vision for BRA Bihar university is to create a vibrant academic ecosystem where students have access to top-notch resources, faculty expertise and collaborative opportunities with leading institutions nationwide. This commitment to forging strategic alliances aligns with the university's mission to provide a world-class education experience to its stakeholders. Moreover, BRABUhas been proactive in establishing MoUs with over 25 premier institutions across the country.
PK Jain, Director, NIT Patna, emphasised the importance of such collaborations in driving scientific and technological advancements while nurturing a culture of innovation and excellence. The academic fraternity at both BRABU and NIT Patna have expressed delight over the fruitful partnership established between two premier knowledge centres, including BS Rai; Rajeev Kumar; Kalyan Kumar Jha; Rajeev Jha, former IAS; Sanjay Sinha; Navin Kumar and others.
