Niranjan P Patel As New VC Of Sardar Patel University
Dr Niranjan P Patel (Professor & Head of the Department of Sanskrit) has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of Sardar Patel University (SPU) for five years, with effect from the date of his taking charge of the office. He had been serving in the role of in-charge VC for around two years before the announcement of his full-term posting.
He has held various positions at Sardar Patel University, including Professor & Head of the PG Department of Sanskrit, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Head of the PG Department of Law, Ex-Dean (I/C), Faculty of Law and Adhyaksh at Akhil Bharitaya Sahitya Parishad.
His publications include 12 Sanskrit books, a reviewer, an encyclopedia of Hinduism (Vol. 1) and three translated books.
