GD Goenka University Concludes Shooting Championship

GD Goenka University organised Gayatri Devi Goenka Memorial Shooting Championship. The event aimed at encouraging sports excellence and paying tribute to the exceptional marksmen and markswomen. This championship is about to become one of the nation's most prestigious shooting competitions with over 500 participants from all over India and will be conducted using Electronic Scoring Target System (EST).

The primary objective of this championship was to foster sportsmanship and nurture the talents of young shooters, providing them with a platform to showcase their precision and passion for the sport.

Abhinav Bindra, India's first individual Olympic gold medal winner, praised GD Goenka for its commitment to sports across its educational institutions. He expressed his confidence that the students would not only excel in tournaments but also absorb the values that sports instill.
